Applicants must have the endorsement of their Guidance Counselor on their application attesting they are qualified for this scholarship program.
Scholarship funds will be paid during the month of August 2025—directly to the University of Wyoming, not the student. The scholarship funds will be issued to the University upon receiving a certificate of enrollment for the fall semester, which includes the Student ID number.
Applications must be received by the Rob Russell Memorial Scholarship no later than April 15, 2025. Late applications will not be accepted.
The applications will be reviewed and recipients selected by the Rob Russell Memorial Scholarship committee. The recipient will be announced at the Scholarship Award night, Wynona Thompson Auditorium in May 2025. A formal invitation will be sent, and the scholarship winner should plan to attend.
**If no qualified applications are received, the RRMS will not award the scholarship for that year**

The Rob Russell Memorial Scholarship has the ultimate authority to use the contributions made at the discretion of the RRMS for the purpose of awarding a scholarship to a Cody High School Senior to be used for tuition at the University of Wyoming. This is consistent with tax exempt purposes.
